Monitoring Biodiversity and Threatened Species Workshops
Training to empower stewards of biodiversity and conservation
Monitoring Biodiversity and Threatened Species Workshops provide training in cost-effective survey design to map the distribution and measure the abundance of threatened species, and use this design to monitor populations through time. Practical "how to" workshops provide step by step procedures: combining theory and innovative survey design with detectability / occupancy modelling techniques for monitoring biodiversity. Participants will be trained using freeware: QGIS, DISTANCE and PRESENCE The course includes 10 modules; presented live online, off-line, or in-person, tailored to suit your organization.
